Job summary

Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care in Dunn, NC seeks a Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate patient care in home hospice settings and document care per reimbursement guidelines.

You will coordinate with patients, families, physicians and the hospice team, participate in interdisciplinary meetings, and help ensure quality reviews while maintaining CPR certification and current licensure. Travel and evening/weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Graduated from an approved nursing program
• Minimum two years clinical nursing experience; hospice 1 year preferred
• Knowledge of home health and hospice operations and reimbursement guidelines
• CPR certification; ability to travel and work weekends/evenings/holidays as needed

Role: Hospice Registered Nurse (RN)
Responsibilities: Provide patient care and documentation in compliance with reimbursement guidelines, coordinate physical care with patients, families, physicians, and the hospice team, communicate effectively at all levels, and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and quality reviews.
Qualifications & Skills: Current RN licensure, graduation from an approved nursing program, at least two years of clinical nursing experience, with one year preferred in hospice care. Knowledge of home health and hospice operations, nursing principles, and reimbursement guidelines. Must complete 12 hours of continuing education annually, hold CPR certification, and be willing to travel and work weekends, evenings, or holidays as needed.
