Job summary

Alpha Home Health and Hospice in Gastonia, NC seeks an experienced RN to provide patient-centered hospice care across home settings. You will apply nursing theories, coordinate with families and interdisciplinary teams, and document care to meet reimbursement standards.

You must hold an active RN license, have at least two years of clinical experience (hospice preferred), and be willing to travel and participate in weekend, evening, and holiday call duties.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure and completed nursing program.
• Minimum two years clinical nursing experience; hospice experience preferred.
• Knowledge of home health and hospice care frameworks and the nurse’s role within the team.
• Understanding of nursing practice laws, agency policies, and reimbursement guidelines.
• Maintain 12 hours of continuing education annually and CPR certification.
• Flexibility to travel and participate in weekend, evening, and holiday call duties.
