Job summary

St. Croix Hospice seeks a Regional Director of Business Development to lead all facets of hospice business development programs. You will manage relationships with customers and referral sources, coordinate events, negotiate service contracts, and oversee budgeting and staffing at the regional level.

The role requires strong leadership, market analysis, and relationship-building skills to expand patient volume and improve service lines across sites. Travel within the region is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or healthcare related field.
• 1–3 years experience in health care business development management, preferably in hospice care operations.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
• Ability to aggressively grow business and deal tactfully with customers and the community.
• Knowledge of corporate business management.
• Demonstrates good communications skills, negotiation skills, and public relations skills.
• Demonstrates autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
• Ability to pass DHS background study.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily business development operations and oversee business development initiatives.
• Manage CRM and CRM activity for the business development team.
• Support budgeting and market planning to meet site location targets.
• Develop market assessments and marketing plans to meet volume projections.
• Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources and payers.
• Recruit, train, and support the business development team.
• Monitor community perceptions and drive strategic initiatives.
• Forecast requirements and contribute to annual budgets with leadership.
