Job summary

Amedisys, part of the Optum family, is hiring a Hospice Liaison/Hospice Sales Rep to educate providers and drive referrals. This field-based role builds relationships with physicians, hospitals, and SNFs to grow census and ensure smooth care transitions.

You will travel 50% or more, document interactions in CRM, and meet admissions and payor-mix goals. A Bachelor's degree and healthcare business development experience are preferred; competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a healthcare-related business development/outreach role.
• Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and liability insurance.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Educates health care professionals, patients, and families about home care services.
• Develops and maintains relationships with key referral sources to generate leads.
• Coordinates admissions with the team and completes referral to admission process.
• Conducts on-site visits to assess patient needs and barriers to care.
• Keeps accurate records of patient interactions and referrals in CRM.
• Attains admissions, product, and payor-mix goals.
