Athena Hospice of Rhode Island is hiring a Marketing Liaison to join our team. This salaried role includes an incentive program and weekly pay.

The position is on-the-road, covering the entire state of Rhode Island and focused on building referral relationships with physicians, referral sources, the community, and other providers. Qualifications

• Experience in sales and marketing preferred.
• Experience in healthcare (hospice, long-term care, acute care, etc.) required.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between the referral accounts/the community and the agency to identify and develop new potential referral sources.
• Develop and maintain a monthly and daily marketing plan based on needs.
• Maximizes census through effective marketing, sales calls, and public relations in accordance with the Home Health and Hospice goals.
• Effectively develop and implement monthly marketing plans that are organized and strategic through geographic planning, completion of daily marketing/admission action plans, targeting account assignments, adherence to account assignments, sales call frequency, strategy for account development, and vertical account development.
• Manage marketing/sales budgets.
• Track and evaluate referrals.
• Responsible to ensure external sales calls effectively.
• Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective families and applicants.
