Job summary
Serenity Hospice in Hamilton, NJ seeks a knowledgeable Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI) Nurse to oversee and advance the QAPI program for our hospice operations. The role focuses on leading teams, analyzing performance data, and ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations and accreditation standards.
The ideal candidate holds an NJ RN or LPN license with hospice and QA experience, plus strong data analysis and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Valid NJ RN or LPN license required.
- Hospice experience required.
- Quality assurance experience required.
- Data analysis experience preferred.
- Must have reliable transportation with liability insurance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements the Quality Assurance Improvement plan aligned with mission and regulations.
- Leads, facilitates and advises internal QAPI teams.
- Collects and summarizes performance data and presents findings.
- Educates and trains leadership, staff, and business associates on the QAPI plan.
- Analyzes data elements used in patient care planning and evaluation.
