Job summary

St. Joseph Villas Homecare and Hospice in Omaha, Nebraska seeks a QAPI Nurse to audit patient records, perform clinical reviews, and analyze audit data to improve quality and compliance. You will collaborate with the Compliance Team to identify performance improvements and educate staff, supporting timely reporting and quality initiatives across the hospice program.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospice required.

• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Proficient with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Audit patient records for ongoing monitoring of documentation compliance.
• Perform accurate and timely clinical reviews to meet deadlines.
• Compile, review, analyze and graph audit data.
• Maintain quality data and reports.
• Work with hospice staff to follow up on audit results.
• Collaborate with Compliance Team to identify performance improvement issues and staff educational needs.
