Job summary

St. Joseph Villas Homecare and Hospice in Omaha, Nebraska, is seeking a QAPI Nurse to lead audits of patient records, perform accurate clinical reviews, and analyze data to support performance improvement across our hospice program.

Qualified candidates will have hospice experience, meticulous attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills, and proficiency with Word and Excel to maintain and report quality data to compliance teams.

Responsibilities

• Audit patient records for ongoing monitoring of documentation compliance
• Perform accurate and timely clinical reviews to meet deadlines
• Compile, review, analyze and graph audit data
• Maintain quality data and reports
• Work with hospice staff to follow up on audit results
• Collaborate with Compliance Team to identify performance improvement issues and staff educational needs
