Job summary

Visiting Nurse Health System seeks a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join the Palliative Division serving Cobb and Carroll counties. This is a Full-time or PRN opportunity.

You will collaborate with physicians to deliver end-of-life and palliative care and act as a clinical consultant and educator for healthcare professionals. As a bridge between hospitals and hospices, you will improve care for terminally ill patients, support hospice programs, and advocate for providers.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a Master's degree in Nursing.
• Must hold a current Georgia Advanced Practice Nursing license.
• Certified as Gerontologic NP, Family NP, or Adult NP by the certifying bodies; CPR certification required.
• Minimum two years' Medicare patient management experience; home-based medical care a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with a physician to deliver end-of-life and palliative care.
• Acts as a consultant and educator for healthcare professionals.
