Job summary

Luminary Hospice in Frisco, Texas seeks a Hospice Care Consultant to educate communities about hospice benefits and grow access to services. You will build and maintain relationships with referral sources, facilities, and families, driving awareness and program growth.

Responsibilities include developing marketing plans, supporting budgeting goals, and coordinating education across teams to ensure timely admissions and census targets. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• At least two years experience in healthcare marketing, preferably hospice.
• Proficient in MS Office and ability to learn dept-specific software systems.
• Demonstrate organizational skills and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Executive Director in annual budget volume projections.
• Initiates marketing and promotional initiatives to meet budget projections.
• Conducts market assessments and develops a marketing plan to meet projections.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with current and potential referral sources.
• Educates facilities, families, and the community on the hospice benefit.
• Provides leadership in strategic planning and service opportunities.
• Support care team by gathering referrals and helping obtain orders.
• Ensure annual education is completed and documented.
• Accountable to goals set by leadership including territory growth and census targets.
• Other duties as assigned.
