Job summary

Gentiva Hospice is seeking an experienced RN Hospice Administrator to lead a location with developing census.

You will oversee clinical operations, manage interdisciplinary teams, ensure compliant, patient-centered care, and drive quality improvement while aligning with the mission and community needs.

Strong leadership, financial oversight, HR, and community engagement experience are essential to succeed in a dynamic hospice environment.

Qualifications

• RN license required or active state license
• BSN preferred
• 3–5 years healthcare management experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year supervisory experience required
• 2+ years hospice/home care experience required
• Strong knowledge of hospice regulations and Medicare conditions of participation

Responsibilities

• Provides hands-on leadership for a hospice program with growth opportunity, accountable for clinical quality, operational performance, and census expansion.
• Demonstrates commitment to excellence through quality care and service.
• Promotes and monitors compliance with accrediting and licensing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manages Human Resources effectively.
• Manages Office Operations effectively.
• Plans and organizes tasks and resources to achieve strategic goals.
• Monitors and supervises quality of patient care.
• Prepares monthly bills, expense requests, payroll and other expenses.
• Ensures contract management with outside vendors/providers.
• Collaborates with Governing Body and leadership to set goals and monitor progress.
