Job summary

Gentiva Hospice is seeking an experienced RN Executive Director to lead a mid-sized hospice location with strong clinical and operational oversight. You will guide interdisciplinary teams, ensure high-quality patient-centered care, and drive performance aligned with regulatory standards and community needs.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, budget management, and collaboration with the Governing Body and referral partners to deliver outstanding service and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Nurse with leadership experience in hospice, home health, or clinical operations management.
• Minimum one year of management/supervisory experience; two+ years in hospice/home care preferred.
• BSN preferred; Master’s in business, nursing, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for a mid-sized hospice program and oversee clinical quality and census.
• Manage interdisciplinary teams and human resources; supervise and evaluate staff.
• Ensure compliance with accrediting/licensing standards and safety policies.
• Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and procurement; monitor costs and resources.
• Lead community outreach, marketing materials, and relationships with Governing Body and partners.
