OhioHealth at Home in partnership with Compassus is seeking a Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to provide after-hours hospice care, including weekends as needed. You’ll support patients and families, manage comfort, and coordinate with a compassionate team in a flexible, seven-on-seven schedule.

The role requires an active RN license in the state, hospice experience preferred, a valid driver’s license, CPR/BCLS certification, and the ability to adapt schedules.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state you work.
• Two years of RN experience; hospice experience preferred.
• Current driver's license.
• Current CPR and BCLS certification.
• Flexibility to meet agency staffing needs (weekends, nights, or seven days on/7 days off).

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice patient care after-hours and on weekends as needs arise.
• Help patients and families spend quality time and maintain comfort.
• Build trusting, compassionate relationships with patients and families.
• Educate caregivers on care for loved ones.
• Support after-hours emergency care to maintain patient comfort.
