Job summary

OhioHealth at Home in Partnership with Compassus is seeking a Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to provide after-hours and weekend care, ensuring comfort and compassionate support. You will build strong relationships with patients and families while educating caregivers on appropriate care.

The role offers a flexible schedule (7 days on, 7 days off) with 5pm–8am shifts, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state you work.
• Two years of RN experience, hospice experience preferred.
• Current CPR and BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice patient care after-hours and on weekends as needs arise.
• Build trusting, compassionate relationships with patients and families.
• Educate caregivers on care for loved ones to empower them.
• Help patients and families maintain comfort and coping for after-hours support.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies to ensure continuous care.
