Job summary

Reserve Care is seeking an On-Call Nurse to support patients and families in the home after hours in typically urgent times. You will join a compassionate team, using your nursing skills to care for patients in their residences and provide trusted, ongoing support during challenging moments.

The role requires an Ohio-licensed RN with strong communication and the ability to work independently within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Licensed RN in Ohio.
• Experience in pain management, oncology, or mental health preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities

• Assess physical, psychosocial and spiritual needs of the patient and family (RN only).
• Provide intermittent skilled nursing services to the patient under the physician’s direction.
• Monitor and evaluate pain and symptoms; inform and assist patient and family to manage problems.
• Serve as liaison to the patient’s physician; relay information based on patient needs.
• Provide emotional support to the patient and family.
• Maintain prompt, complete documentation as required.
• Participate in team meetings and RC University events as needed.
