Compassus is seeking an On-Call Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to provide after-hours patient care and weekend support. You will help patients and families spend meaningful time together and maintain comfort during emergencies.

You will educate caregivers, build compassionate relationships, and adapt your schedule to meet agency staffing needs, including weekends or seven-on/seven-off patterns.

Qualifications

• RN licensed in the state you work.
• Two years of RN experience; hospice experience preferred.
• Current CPR and BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice patient care after-hours and weekends as needed.
• Help patients spend time with loved ones and enjoy activities.
• Build trusting relationships with patients and families.
• Educate caregivers on care for their loved one.
• Support patient comfort and coping during after-hours emergencies.
