Job summary

Compassus is seeking an on-call Hospice Registered Nurse to provide patient care after-hours and weekends as needs arise. You will support families, ensuring comfort and compassionate care in the home setting.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state you work.
• Two years of experience as a registered nurse; hospice experience preferred.
• Current driver’s license.
• Current CPR and BCLS certifications.
• Flex your schedule to meet agency staffing needs (weekends/nights or seven days on/off).

Responsibilities

• Provide hospice patient care after-hours and weekends as needs arise.
• Enable patients to spend quality time with loved ones and doing activities they enjoy.
• Build trusting compassionate relationships with patients and their families.
• Educate caregivers on care for their loved one at home.
• Support patient and family comfort during after-hours emergencies.
