Job summary

Resource 1 Homecare Staffing is seeking an On-Call Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) in Hibbing, MN for 7 On/7 Off shifts (5p-8a). This role focuses on organizing and directing hospice care in patients' homes and communities, with emphasis on after-hours triage and admissions.

Responsibilities include assessment, care planning, administering medications, educating patients and families, and coordinating with physicians and the hospice team.

Qualifications

• Compassionate hospice care with patient-family relationships.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Valid driver's license and insured automobile.

Responsibilities

• Respond to after-hours calls and visits during 7On/7Off shifts.
• Assess patient and family needs and revise the plan of care as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Educate patient and family on care techniques and self-management.
