Job summary

Bluegrass Care Navigators in Kentucky seeks an Assistant Nursing Supervisor to assist in planning, coordinating, supervising, and delivering client and family care services alongside the RN Supervisor. This role supports staff orientation, scheduling, education, and coordination of hospice services across regional offices, with direct patient care as needed.

Ideal candidates possess RN licensure, CPR cert, and strong nursing judgment, communication skills, and teamwork abilities to ensure safety

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing.
• 2 years’ general nursing experience required; hospice experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Licensed as an RN in Kentucky or COMPACT state.
• Must have good references from nursing school or employers.
• Strong written documentation and observation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning, coordination, supervision, and delivery of client and family care services.
• Work with ED, Nursing Supervisor, and management to ensure quality patient care.
• Assist with staff orientation, education, scheduling, and delivery of hospice services.
• Provide direct patient care as needed; support safety and organizational culture.
