Job summary

Bluegrass Care Navigators in Kentucky is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (PRN) to join the hospice team. You will assist with personal care, promote comfort, and maintain a safe environment under the supervision of a registered nurse.

This para-professional role requires a State Registered Nurse Aide, high school diploma, and good references; prior hospital or nursing home experience is preferred. You will observe patients, document care provided, and report changes promptly to the RN.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and high school graduate or equivalent.
• State-registered Nurse Aide certification.
• One year hospital or nursing home experience preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care.
• Satisfactory references from previous employers.
• Self-directed with minimal supervision.
• Compassion for the ill; hospice philosophy.
• Tact, patience and good personal hygiene.
