Hinds LifeCare seeks a Coordinator, Volunteer Services in Fresno, CA to develop, promote and manage a broad range of volunteer opportunities within the Fresno outpatient program and administrative offices. You will recruit, interview, place volunteers, inform them of policies, and support recognition programs to sustain engagement.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong time management and communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; one year of volunteer experience preferred.
• Excellent time management and communication skills; ability to work with diverse teams.
• Ability to function autonomously within an interdisciplinary team; strong organizational skills.
• Must have reliable transportation, CA driver's license, and proof of auto insurance.

• Develops, promotes, and maintains a wide range of volunteer opportunities within the Fresno outpatient volunteer services program and Fresno administrative offices.

Qualifications:

• Compensation $23 - $24 hourly

• Qualifications include but are not limited to:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year experience in volunteer activities.
  • Must be able to function autonomously with flexibility and confidence and have the ability to function in an interdisciplinary team setting.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills with the ability to deal with difficult and complex situations highly desirable.
  • Possess the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with both Administrative and clinical staff.
  • Computer proficiency required.
  • Recent TB, Tdap, MMR, Varicella and Hep B immunizations required.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (i.e., push/pull/lift/carry items in excess of 15 lbs.).
  • Possesses reliable transportation and a valid CA drivers license. Show proof of auto insurance, current auto registration, and possess an acceptable driving record.
