Job summary

Serenity Hospice is seeking a Director of Business Development to generate new business and build relationships across Essex County, NJ. The role focuses on developing sales and marketing strategies to expand our community presence.

The position requires driving growth through collaboration with the executive team and interdisciplinary staff, with responsibilities including forecasting territory needs and achieving monthly sales goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospice, hospital, or nursing home development.
• Minimum of two years in business development and sales.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Serenity Hospice is looking to add a motivated and passionate Director of Business Development to generate new business, maintain and build new relationships as well as develop sales and marketing strategies to further our presence in the community.

This position covers the Essex County area.

Responsibilities:

• Forecast needs for business development in assigned territory.

• Facilitate and maintain relationships with businesses including Skilled Nursing facilities, ALF's, Hospitals, Physicians Practices

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary Team

• With the Executive team, set and achieve goals for growth.

• Create effective and sustainable strategies for continued growth.

• Attend Marketing Meetings as required.

• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals.

Requirements:

• Must have at least two years of experience in Hospice, Hospital or Nursing Home development.

• Must have at least two years of experience in Business Development and Sales.

• Reliable transportation and willing to drive extensively within the assigned territory.

• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.

• Driven and motivated personality, looking for growth.
