Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Med Aide (MA) for our cottage hospice team in Luverne, MN. You will provide comfort-focused, patient-centered care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to manage symptoms, and support dignity for every patient.

The role offers a 12-hour night shift, full-time schedule, and a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for eligible applicants. Familiarity with LPN duties and BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required.
• If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• The LPN participates in the implementation and evaluation of patient care in the home care setting, ensuring health, comfort and safety.
• Demonstrates knowledge of nursing principles, medications and patient education to support self-care and safety for all ages.
