Job summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Med Aide (MA) joins Sanford Health's Luverne Cottage Hospice team in Luverne, MN to provide comfort-focused, patient-centered care in the home setting. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to manage symptoms and preserve patient dignity across ages.

Full-time schedule with 36 hours weekly and 12-hour night shifts; cottages operate 6 to 6 with rotating shifts. A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as an LPN.
• If IV therapy is required, specific ND/board guidelines may apply.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.
• Active LPN license with state board; multi-state licensure possible.
• Driver's license may be required; BLS for health care providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort-focused, patient-centered care in the home setting.
• Support symptom management, emotional comfort and dignity.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
• Demonstrate nursing knowledge and perform required assessments.
