Job summary

Sanford Health’s Luverne Cottage Hospice is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Med Aide (MA) to join a cottage hospice team providing comfort-focused, patient-centered care. You’ll collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support symptom management, emotional comfort, and dignity for patients across ages in a home-care setting.

Shifts run 6am–6pm with rotating nights, every third weekend and every other holiday.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and hold an LPN license.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.
• BLS for Health Care Providers required.
• Valid driver’s license may be required depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Participates in implementation and evaluation of patient care.
• Administers treatments and medications as directed.
• Provides comfort-focused, patient-centered care in home care settings.
• Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to manage symptoms and ensure dignity.
