Job summary

Sanford Health in Luverne, MN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or MA to join the Luverne Cottage Hospice team. You will deliver compassionate, patient-centered care during a meaningful life stage and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to manage symptoms and comfort.

The role includes night shifts on a 12-hour schedule, with a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for eligible applicants and a 36-hour weekly expectation. A strong patient-first approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• If IV therapy is required in North Dakota, must meet Board-approved IV therapy requirements.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered LPN license and may require a valid drivers license; BLS for health care providers required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort-focused, patient-centered care to hospice patients in home setting.
• Support symptom management, emotional comfort, and dignity through interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles and administer treatments and medications as directed.
• Ensure health, comfort, and safety of patients/residents in line with age-specific needs.
