Job summary

Sanford Health, Luverne Cottage Hospice in Luverne, MN, is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Med Aide (MA) to provide comfort-focused, patient-centered care in the home setting. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to manage symptoms and maintain dignity for patients across ages in a cottage hospice environment.

The role supports a 12-hour night shift within a full-time schedule, with a 36-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and be licensed as an LPN.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.
• Valid LPN license with state nursing board; multi-state licensure may apply; BLS required.
• If IV therapy is required, relevant training per state requirements may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Participate in implementation and evaluation of patient care in the home care setting.
• Provide comfort-focused, patient-centered care and support symptom management.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and dignity for patients.
