Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current LPN licensure in Florida.
• IV certification required at hire or by specified deadlines.
• Active BLS for healthcare professionals.
• For current Hope employees: BLS by Jan 1, 2025; for Capital Caring: by Nov 1, 2024.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, perform nursing tasks and patient teaching.
• Provide continuous care, dressing changes, catheter changes per plan.
• Observe patients, report changes to RN, and document findings.
• Venipuncture and CVL site observation; IV meds and fluids as ordered.
• Document in medical record and participate in emergencies when required.
