Chapters Health System in Florida is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) under RN supervision to provide nursing interventions and patient/family teaching to maximize comfort and quality of life.

The role requires current LPN licensure in Florida, IV certification, BLS, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule. The compensation is $30.00 per hour, with duties including medication administration, IV care, venipuncture, and adherence to safety and HIPAA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Current LPN licensure in the state of employment.
• IV certification required at time of hire.
• Active BLS for healthcare professionals.
• BLS deadlines for Hope or Capital Caring employees as stated.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance per policy.
• Reliable transportation to meet visit schedule.
• Infusion Therapy course preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Flexible schedule to meet patient needs.
• Ability to use equipment and meet physical requirements.

Responsabilités

• Under RN supervision, provides nursing tasks such as continuous care and dressing changes.
• Demonstrates clinical skills in medication administration, symptom management, and patient/family relationships.
• Observes and reports changes in patient condition to RN.
• Performs venipuncture and CVL-related observations and care as applicable.
• Documents in the medical record per policy.
• May be required to report to work during emergencies to ensure continuity of services.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
