Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure in the state of employment.
• IV certification required at time of hire.
• Active BLS for healthcare professionals.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Flexible schedule to meet patients’ needs.
• Ability to lift patients and equipment and meet physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Under RN direction, provides nursing tasks to patients per care plan.
• Demonstrates medication administration and symptom management.
• Observes changes and reports to RN and physicians.
• Performs venipuncture and infusion-related tasks as trained.
• Documents in the medical record per policy.
• During emergencies, may report to alternate location to ensure continuity.
