Qualifications

• BLS for healthcare professionals from AHA or Red Cross.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Flexible schedule to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, performs nursing tasks to patients per plan of care.
• Administers medications and monitors patient responses.
• Documents care in medical records per policy.
• Observes patients for changes and reports to RN.
• May perform venipuncture and IV related tasks per protocol.
• May be required to travel to patient visits and work at hours as needed.
• Cross-training to Hospice House positions may be required.
