Capital Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, compliance, and daily HR operations within a healthcare setting.

The role focuses on healthcare HR management, employee relations, benefits administration, and regulatory compliance, including CHAP standards. Collaboration with leadership is essential to align HR practices with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Minimum 3 years of healthcare management experience, preferably in hospice or home health.
• 2+ years of recruitment and employee training experience preferred.
• Experience managing HR operations in a healthcare environment.
• Knowledge of federal and Illinois employment laws and healthcare regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with CHAP accreditation standards preferred.
• Strong understanding of recruitment, employee relations, benefits, and HR compliance.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee matters professionally.
• Strong computer skills and experience with HR management systems.
