Job summary

Tri-Cities Chaplaincy in Kennewick, WA is seeking a Hospice House Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, comprehensive care to terminally ill patients and their families in a Hospice House setting. The RN, under the supervision of the Hospice House Nurse Manager, coordinates services and supports LPNs, CNAs, and volunteers.

This full‑time, 36‑hour position requires flexibility for day, night, and weekend shifts, CPR/BLS, WA license, and a reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State license as a professional registered nurse.
• Availability for day, night, and weekend shifts as needed and as scheduled by the supervisor.
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to independently drive within Tri-Cities Chaplaincy’s service areas to provide in-home patient and family services.
• This position is designated as Safety Sensitive. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen including cannabis testing in Washington State.
• Certification in CPR/BLS and a WA Food Worker Card issued by the Department of Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to terminally ill patients and families in a Hospice House setting.
• Identify patient and family needs and coordinate services to deliver preventive and supportive care.
• Oversee the work of LPNs, CNAs, and volunteers in the Hospice House.
