Job summary

PeaceHealth in Longview, WA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for the Hospice House to join the night shift on a 0.80 FTE, part-time basis. The role supports professional nursing staff by delivering direct and indirect patient care under a registered nurse's guidance.

You will perform CPR, monitor vital signs, assist with personal care, and document care data while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year preferred in an acute care setting.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of age-specific care principles.
• CNA licensure in Washington and Basic Life Support required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in direct patient care under the RN.
• Perform vital signs, CPR, and care documentation.
• Support personal care: bathing, grooming, feeding, mobility.
• Maintain unit supplies and assist with clerical tasks as needed.
• Report changes in patient condition to the nurse on duty.
