Job summary

Alternate Solutions Health Network is seeking a Community Educator to inform healthcare professionals about our services and to professionally represent the company to build and maintain accounts across the community.

The Community Educator will attend discharge and multidisciplinary rounds when appropriate, share expertise, and assist patients in transitions within the health system while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field or 4 years of healthcare sales experience.
• Proven sales track record and ability to develop new accounts.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with healthcare professionals.
• Professional appearance and ability to present to diverse audiences.
• Ability to set and meet targets and deadlines.
• Team player with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Educate healthcare professionals about the Company services (physician offices, long-term care facilities, rehabs, hospitals).
• Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals in surrounding communities.
• Create awareness in the community of the need and benefits of home healthcare services.
• Network and attend business organizations on behalf of the Company.
• Develop and organize educational programs for the community and healthcare workers.
• Maintain existing accounts and educate clients for services.
• Coordinate new referral admission process to ease transitions with internal staff.
• Follow-up with referrals via calls, letters and visits.
• Prepare weekly marketing reports for supervisor and monthly expense reports.
• Set weekly, monthly and yearly goals for new accounts and referrals.
