Job summary

Alternate Solutions Health Network in Lafayette, IN is seeking a Community Educator to inform health care professionals about our home health services and to grow community accounts.

You will educate physician offices, long-term care facilities, rehabs and hospitals; develop relationships with providers; coordinate referrals; and support patient transitions while staying compliant with Medicare and Medicaid policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field or 4 years of healthcare sales experience, preferably in homecare or hospice.

Responsibilities

• Educate those in the healthcare field about the Company services and benefits.
• Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals in the community.
• Create awareness of home healthcare services in the community.
• Develop and organize educational programs for the community and healthcare workers.
• Coordinate new referral admission processes with internal staff.
• Follow-up with referrals via calls, letters and visits.
• Prepare weekly and monthly marketing and expense reports.
• Attend in-service trainings and mandatory agency meetings.
