Job summary

GBMC HealthCare in Baltimore, MD seeks a Director of Business Development - Hospital Programs to lead growth of hospital-based programs, improve referrals, and ensure high quality patient experience.

Reporting to the Chief Business Development Officer, you will supervise Hospital Liaisons, develop growth strategies, and collaborate with hospital partners while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in nursing, health-related field, marketing or equivalent
• Master's degree preferred
• 7-10 years healthcare leadership experience
• 3-5 years management experience preferred
• 5 years' experience caring for terminal patients and families preferred

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of Clinical Nurse Liaison staff and performance metrics
• Develop and execute hospital growth strategies and referrals
• Lead liaison teams and ensure effective marketing and scheduling
• Collaborate with EPIC team to maximize system use
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality improvement initiatives
• Manage department budgets and payroll processes
• Build relationships with hospital leadership and payers
• Monitor and present referral/admission data at monthly meetings
