Job summary

Trustbridge Hospice, part of Empath Health, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver comfort, dignity, and care to our patients in the Coral Springs, Margate, and Pompano area. You will be a steady presence for patients and families during life’s important moments.

The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. You will provide direct and indirect patient care, assist with ADLs, maintain a clean, safe environment, and offer emotional support under

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the State of Florida.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Six months’ experience working in hospital or healthcare environment
• Requires ability to drive, a reliable car, a good driving record, automobile insurance and basic knowledge of the county territory.
• Must be able to fulfill assigned tasks effectively and efficiently.
• Must practice good personal hygiene and be neat and clean in appearance.

As a CNA on our hospice team, you will deliver high-quality, compassionate care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

• Provide direct and indirect care to patients in home and community-based settings
• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal hygiene, mobility, and comfort measures
• Support a clean, safe, and nurturing environment for each patient
• Offer emotional support to patients and their families, fostering dignity and compassion at every interaction
