Job summary

Tidewell Hospice, a part of Empath Health, seeks a caring CNA to provide in-home and facility-based support across private homes, long-term care, or assisted living settings.

Join a mission-driven team delivering Full Life Care with compassion, dignity, and patient-centered support; Florida CNA certification and CPR are required, with hospice or home health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Florida State Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant with 75 education hours (theory and clinical) required.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• One year of hospice, home health, or acute-care experience preferred.
• CHPNA certification encouraged within three years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Overall care of the patient, including basic personal care, vital signs, bathing, and assisting with household tasks.
• Educate patient and primary caregiver about personal care, patient positioning and daily living.

Tidewell Hospice, a part of Empath Health is seeking a caring and motivated CNA to work with us in patients in private homes, long-term care facilities or assisted-living facilities.

What you'll Do

• Overall care of the patient, from basic personal care like taking vital signs and bathing to household tasks that assist the primary caregiver.
• Educating the patient and primary caregiver about personal care, patient positioning and daily living.

What You'll Need

• Applicants must have Florida State Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant, including a minimum of 75 education hours of theory and clinical in preparation for a CNA license
• Current CPR certification
• One year of recent experience in hospice, home health or acute-care setting is preferred.
• CHPNA certification is strongly encouraged within three years of hiring
