Job summary

Bristol Hospice in Germantown, TN is seeking an Executive Director to lead day-to-day operations, drive strategic initiatives, and provide executive oversight of clinical and operational performance.

You will direct budgeting, ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance, staff development, and ongoing quality improvement while promoting a compassionate, family-centered culture across hospice locations, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Health Care preferred, or equivalent direct work experience.
• Three (3) years of experience in health care management; five (5) years preferred.
• Ability to communicate and facilitate training via phone, WebEx, or in-person.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and EMR systems.
• Must demonstrate ability to supervise and direct professional and administrative personnel.
• Must understand hospice care and Medicare Hospice Certification.
• Must be willing to travel to hospice locations and be flexible with hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks associated with operational planning and budgeting.
• Ensure organizational compliance with legal, regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Monitor business operations to ensure financial stability.
• Evaluate hospice services and personnel using measurable outcomes and objectives.
• Establish and maintain effective channels of communication including integration of technology.
• Ensure hospice personnel stay current with clinical information and practices.
• Provide staff development including orientation, in-service, continuing education, competency testing and quality assessment performance improvement.
• Ensure that interdisciplinary care is provided.
• Ensure coordination with other departments, services and senior management.
