Job summary

Sanctuary Hospice in Chicago is seeking a Community Liaison (Hospice Marketer / Sales Representative) to build trust-based relationships with referral sources and healthcare partners, driving census growth for our Westchester area services.

You will promote comprehensive hospice care, explain our philosophy with empathy, and advocate for patients and families as a key face of Sanctuary Hospice. Strong communication and local outreach are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred; experience may substitute.
• Minimum two years of sales/marketing in healthcare; hospice/palliative marketing preferred.
• Strong ability to establish and maintain relationships with key staff, marketing, and clinical teams.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with physicians, healthcare professionals, and community agencies.
• Prior clinical experience is a plus.
• Must be willing to drive with reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, including physicians and healthcare partners.
• Serve as a passionate advocate for hospice services through outreach reflecting our commitment to compassionate, high-quality care.
• Grow our presence by positioning Sanctuary Hospice as the provider of choice across the service area and exceed growth and census goals.
• Drive referral growth through regular visits with referring physicians, hospital discharge planners, SNFs, social workers, and other professionals.
• Lead initial conversations about hospice care, clearly explaining our services and philosophy, with empathy and respect.
