Anodyne Palliative Services in Chicago provides compassionate home-based hospice care. We are seeking a dedicated CNA to support patients at home or in facilities, delivering personal care and ensuring comfort with dignity.

You will assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, remind and administer medications, document care, and maintain a safe environment. Previous healthcare experience preferred; strong communication and empathy are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a CNA program or equivalent training.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation systems.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and empathetic toward patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to hospice patients in homes or facilities.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Monitor and record vital signs (BP, temperature).
• Assist with medication reminders and administration.
• Document patient care activities and observations in medical records.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.

Qualifications

• Completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) program or equivalent training
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation systems
