Job summary

Anodyne Palliative Services is seeking a compassionate CNA to provide in-home and facility-based hospice support in the Chicago area. You will help with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and document care in medical records to ensure comfort and safety for patients at the end of life.

Flexible scheduling includes full-time, part-time, PRN, and per diem roles with a minimum commitment of three shifts per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) program or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to hospice patients in their homes or healthcare facilities.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
• Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature).
• Assist with medication reminders and administration.
• Document patient care activities and observations in medical records.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
