Anodyne Palliative Services in Chicago is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide in-home hospice and palliative care.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, administer reminders, and document patient care accurately in medical records. This in-person role offers flexible hours (full-time, part-time or PRN) and a supportive team dedicated to dignity, comfort, and quality of life for patients. A valid CNA license and HS diploma are required.

Qualifications

• CNA training and a high school diploma or equivalent are required.
• Compassionate, patient-focused care experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsabilités

Duties

• Provide personal care and assistance to hospice patients in their homes or healthcare facilities
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
• Assist with medication reminders and administration
• Document patient care activities and observations in medical records
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a certified nursing assistant (CNA) program or equivalent training
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology and documentation systems
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and empathetic towards patients and their families
