Hospice Austin is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join the Clinical Services department in a full-time capacity. Under the supervision of an RN Case Manager or Team Leader, you will deliver quality personal care according to the established Plan of Care and perform supportive tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities include hygiene support, transfers and mobility assistance, vital signs, basic wound care as applicable, medication assistance, documentation, and collaboration with the care team

Qualifications

• Current, active Texas nurse aide certification (CNA).
• CPR certification from a recognized entity following AHA/OSHA standards.

Responsabilités

• Assists with personal hygiene—baths, grooming, oral hygiene, skin checks.
• Provides peri-care and Foley care/maintenance.
• Dresses patients and assists with transfers, turns and mobility.
• Takes vital signs and weights as directed.
• Ambulates patients and assists with ROM as directed.
• May perform simple dressing changes (non-sterile, non-surgical).
• Assists with medications ordinarily self-administered.
• Documents care timely and per policy.
