Job summary

Hospice Austin is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Clinical Services team in Spicewood—Austin, TX 78759. This PRN position provides personal care under the direction of an RN Case Manager or Team Leader and follows an established Plan of Care.

Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, transfers, vital signs, medication assistance as appropriate, documentation, and support with feeding and light housekeeping. Texas CNA certification and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Current Texas CNA certification.
• Active license in good standing with the Texas nurse aide registry.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, oral care) and skin checks.
• Perform transfers, turns, and range-of-motion exercises.
• Take vital signs and weights as directed.
• Assist with feeding and basic nutrition support; light housekeeping as indicated.
• Document care accurately and timely per policies.
