Job summary

Bristol Hospice Llc is seeking an experienced Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to support patients in home settings under RN supervision. You will perform personal care, monitor patient condition, and assist with daily living activities while maintaining confidentiality and compassionate care.

Ideal candidates have CHHA or CNA credentials, hospice exposure, and a calm demeanor for terminally ill patients. Willingness to undergo background checks and drive to patient homes is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing.
• California: CNA in good standing and HHA certification in good standing in the State of California.
• One year experience in community health/hospice or medical/surgical environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including baths, oral hygiene, grooming and dressing.
• Assist with meals, feeding, and hydration as assigned.
• Monitor and report patient condition to Case Manager; observe changes and document accurately.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, exercises and safe positioning.
• Support patient and family with communication, confidentiality, and respect.
