Job summary
Moments Hospice in Florida seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Hospice Aide to provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to patients in their homes, assisted living, or care facilities. You will support activities of daily living, monitor comfort, and coordinate with the RN Case Manager to follow care plans.
The role offers $18–$23 per hour, full-time hours, and a field-based schedule with weekdays duties.
Qualifications
- Active CNA certification required.
- Healthcare caregiving experience in home care or hospice is a plus.
- Current CPR certification preferred.
- Ability to use an electronic medical record system.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
- Compassion and ability to handle emotional situations; professional boundaries.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, skin care).
- Assist with lifting, transferring, positioning, ROM, exercise, and ambulation.
- Assist with dining and nutrition.
- Review and follow patient plans of care under RN Case Manager.
- Provide comfort and companionship to patients and families.
- Maintain electronic medical records.
