Job summary

Bristol Hospice in Fall River, MA is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to support patients in their homes under RN supervision. You will perform personal care, light housekeeping, meal prep, and mobility assistance per the plan of care.

Ideal candidates hold a valid CNA license, CPR, and 1 year of hospice or community health experience. A reliable driver and flexibility to cover day shifts are preferred as part of our compassionate care team.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant with active CNA license.
• California residents: valid HHA certification in good standing.
• Prefer 1 year in community health or hospice.
• Must complete 75 hours training.
• Must have CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care and attend to patient requests.
• Communicate with patients and families with empathy.
• Assist with meals, bathing, and daily activities.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes.
• Assist with transfers and mobility as directed.
• Maintain clean, orderly living area.
• Follow plan of care and documentation standards.
