Job summary

Bristol Hospice is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to work in Elizabeth, PA. You will assist with personal care, daily living activities, and comfort measures under RN supervision.

The role requires CPR, a valid CNA credential, and a willingness to undergo background checks. This is a day shift position offering hourly pay and mileage reimbursement to support patient care across the hospice team.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Minimum 75 hours of classroom and supervised training.
• Licensed driver with automobile insured as required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Willingness to submit to a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks and attend to patient requests promptly.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families while maintaining confidentiality.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, and linen changes.
• Assist in dressing, feeding, and mobility as assigned by the hospice team.
• Support plan of care, document observations, and escalate changes to the Case Manager.
